I am going to get my third Rolex, and at this point I think it will be a 2010 GMT II....

The Life & Times Of Tim

Posted by Administrator, on 02/28/10 11:34 AM

One of the things I have been watching lately is the HBO animated series "The Life & Times of Tim", which is about a guy who tries to do the right thing but people around him get him into bizarre situations, which he ultimately gets blamed for.

HILARIOUS show.....

The Bourne Identity (1988)

Posted by Administrator, on 02/15/10 06:17 PM

I found this movie when my local Hollywood Video was going out of business and selling everything. It is the original screenplay adaptation of the Bourne trilogy, and in my opinion a pretty good melting together of the three books, and unlike the modern adaptation (which I think is great), it does stick more closely to the books and includes the Carlos 'the Jackal' vs. Jason Bourne rivalry.

Certainly worth watching if you're a fan.

two things:

1. another 10 to 20 inches of snow.... really?? Is that all you've got GOD, after only 3 feet of snow already a couple days ago? Bring it on! My pal (the sun) will melt that crap up!

2. Google 'Buzz' - will it become the new Facebook? I hope so.

well, I suppose we ended up with over 2 feet of snow for the second time this season....

I am soooo buying a friggin snowblower for next year! Of course, once I have one it will probably never snow again here.

The Saint

I've been reading 'The Saint' books by Leslie Charteris, and I've got to say that they are a lot of fun to read. They are almost cheesy like James Bond, but a bit more thought provoking.

igdoof: the best comic ever

Posted by Administrator, on 01/11/10 08:42 PM

I once mentioned this before, but while I was at college there was a comic in the school newspaper called 'Igdoof'. To this daye, this was the funniest comic I have ever come across.

Now that I am doing amateur animation with Toon Boom, I only wish I had the talent to create an 'ingoof-esque' animation on YouTube or something. Sadly, I never had the talent to create the story lines that made that comic so great - so that will never happen.

All I can say is, Igdoof was GENIOUS, and it would be awesome to see its creator do an animated series on Comedy Central or something.

It's crazy, but these first two games of the NFL playoffs have been a bit surprising.

Sure, with the injuries the Bengals suffered this season, they had a weak position against the Jets, but it should have been a better game IMHO.

Now, with the Dallas-Eagles game, it is totally apparent that the game will be an all-out brawl to the very end.

The crazy 2-foot snow of 2009!!
